Grand Island High School Students Bring "Little Shop of Horrors" to the Grand Viking Theatre

Grand Island High School students are preparing to take the stage with their production of Little Shop of Horrors, a classic musical comedy that blends humor, heart, and a touch of sci-fi flair. Performances will run February 5 through February 7 at the Grand Viking Theatre.

The show follows the story of Seymour, a meek flower shop assistant who discovers an unusual plant with a big personality—and even bigger demands. As the plant grows, so do the challenges, leading to a fast-paced and entertaining story filled with catchy songs, memorable characters, and unexpected twists.

This production showcases the hard work and talent of Grand Island High School’s student performers, musicians, stage crew, and production team. Students have spent months rehearsing, building sets, designing costumes, and refining their performances to bring this well-known musical to life for the community.

The Grand Viking Theatre will be transformed into the lively world of Little Shop of Horrors, offering audiences an engaging night of live theater while highlighting the creativity and dedication of Grand Island’s students.

Community members are encouraged to attend and support the arts at Grand Island High School. Performance dates, times, and ticket information can be found here.
